Table Tennis Wales - Focus Training Centres (FTC)

September 2017

TTW has announced their Focus Training Centres for the season in both North & South Wales. These Centres will offer quality coaching along with a pathway into the National Elite Group which is based at Sport Wales National Centre on a weekly basis.

Those players who are showing promise at FTC will be offered the chance of selection to a training camp at various times throughout the season. TTW hold school holiday camps as well as pre event trainign before a major competition to a wider group.

The Elite players will get up to 10hrs a week with the Coaching Team of TTW

Elite Group Players for 2017/2018

Anna Hursey, Lara Whitton, Beth Richards, Morgan Day-Davies, Grace Clement, Louie Evans, Joseph Roberts, Jack O'Duffy.

If players outside this group show better results, ability to practice harder, enter more events in UK and demonstrate a case for a place in the Elite Group, it will be looked at several times thoughout the season. Changes can be made by TTW Selectors if deemed necessary at anytime.
